Ms. Gan graduated from International Medical University (IMU), Malaysia, with a Bachelor of Science (Honors) in Dietetics with Nutrition in 2022. After earning her degree, she made the decision to continue her education as an IMU master's candidate. As a result, she joined the MyPEP team in order to work on the project and finish her master's degree at the same time. She has a strong interest in clinical dietetics and research. She discovered that MyPEP is a good fit for her to pursue her interest because it allows her to get on the ground and research the causes of childhood obesity while also helping children in need to enhance their quality of life.
