Alia is a PhD student in the School of Health Sciences and Social Work at Griffith University. In her current project, she is working under the supervision of Dr. Rati Jani who is leading the multi-centric Picky Eating Project in Australia, India and Malaysia examining environmental and phenotypic determinants of picky eating in children and adults. Alia grew up in Indonesia where she completed her undergraduate degree in Human Nutrition at Bogor Agricultural University, and her master’s degree in Marketing Management at University of Indonesia. Before moving to Australia, Alia worked for multinational companies like Nestle and Abbott as an account executive for adult and infant nutrition products.
