Mr Getahun Fentaw Mulaw

PhD Candidate

Mr. Getahun Fentaw Mulaw will be joining Griffith University in 2023 as a PhD student in order to participate in the multi-centric Picky Eating Project in Australia and investigate the effects of Miracle berry on food preferences, and dietary quality of Australian Adults with indicators of Metabolic syndrome. Mr. Getahun had completed his bachelor’s degree (B.Sc.) in public health at Haramaya University, Ethiopia, in 2013 and his master’s degree in public health nutrition at Mekelle University, Ethiopia, in 2017. Prior to moving to Australia, Mr. Getahun spent more than 7 years working as assistant lecturer, lecturer, and assistant professor in public health nutrition at college of health sciences at Samara University and Woldia University in Ethiopia. Getahun has more than 18 publications (as principal and as co-author) in the areas of public health nutrition and public health as general.
