'Questionnaire Of Canberra Long-distance Runners Use Of Supplements And Knowledge Of Australian Native Plants'
This study has received University of Canberra Human Research Ethics Approval (UCHREC - 14005)
This research project aims to explore nutritional supplement consumption of long-distance runners within the Canberra (ACT) and Queanbeyan community. The aim of collecting this information is to identify what nutritional supplements are commonly consumed and the reasons for why they are consumed. Information will also be gathered on the training history and performance level of the long-distance runners, their current nutritional practices, and knowledge of Australian Native plants and foods.
Participation
If you are a runner ≥ 18 years of age and currently reside in the Canberra region (Including Queanbeyan), Australia, you are invited to participate in this research project. The online questionnaire includes short response questions that will take approximately 25-30 minutes to complete. Your participation is voluntary. If you decide to participate but change your mind during the questionnaire you may exit the questionnaire at any point.
We would like to hear from you if you are:
(≥3km runner) in the ACT region including Queanbeyan.
Aged over 18 years of age.
What is involved:
The study will include a questionnaire that will take approximately 25-30 minutes to complete on supplement use in long-distance runners and the reasons for why you may consume them, your training history, current nutritional practices and knowledge of Australian Native foods and plants.
